Gluten Free Waffles Recipe
This gluten free waffle recipe is easy and delicious. They are also Paleo (grain & dairy free). The perfect, healthy breakfast. Simply scrumptious!
- 1 cup Almond flour
- 1/2 cup Tapioca flour
- 1/3 cup Coconut sugar
- 1 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1/4 cup Almond milk
- 1/4 cup Avocado oil
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla
- 2 eggs
Preheat waffle iron. Place dry ingredients in a bowl (almond flour, tapioca flour, coconut sugar, and baking soda).
In a different bowl add the wet ingredients (egg, almond milk, vanilla and oil) and whisk together. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk together until you have a smooth waffle batter.
Spray your waffle iron with a nonstick cooking spray. Waffle irons will vary on size but I use a 1/4 cup per waffle well. Bake for 4 minutes.
Set on a cooling rack or enjoy right away.
WAFFLE STICKS:Same instructions as above. Spray waffle stick iron with nonstick cooking spray. Use about 2 tablespoons of batter in each well. Cook for 4 minutes.
- You can mix any "toppings" you want into your waffle batter. We have used chocolate chips, nuts, and fruit. Get creative and use your families favorites!
- If you are not diary free, you can regular milk instead of almond milk.
- Any oil will work in these waffles. For example, coconut oil, avocado oil, olive oil, etc.
